Part 107 Trainer

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Part 107 Trainer (the “Service”), operated by Success Equipment LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Use license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for your own Part 107 study. You may not resell, redistribute, or share paid course content with other people. Free content (the resources page, the public landing pages, the first batch of practice questions, the free mock exam attempt, and the free audio sample) may be linked to and shared as-is.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. We use email-only sign-in (magic link plus OTP); we do not store passwords. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

3. Subscriptions and lifetime access

  • Lifetime ($79): one-time payment, no recurring charges. Grants ongoing access to all paid features for the lifetime of the Service.
  • Monthly ($9.99): auto-renews each month until you cancel in the Settings page or in your Stripe customer portal. You will be charged at the start of each billing period.
  • Refunds: refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to discuss a refund, contact us through the Feedback page.
  • Price changes: we may change prices for new purchases at any time. Existing lifetime members will not be re-charged. Existing monthly subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change to their plan.

4. Disclaimer: this is study prep, not FAA training

Part 107 Trainer is a study aid for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge exam. We are not the FAA, we are not a Part 141 flight school, and we are not a certified flight instructor. Passing our practice exams does not guarantee you will pass the real FAA exam, and the real FAA exam is the authoritative source for what is on it. Always cross-reference our content against current FAA publications and 14 CFR Part 107 before relying on it.

The Service does not teach you to fly. Hands-on flight instruction is a separate skill we do not provide. For practical flight training, consult a certified flight instructor.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Success Equipment LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to: failed exams, denied LAANC authorizations, denied waivers, damaged aircraft, injured persons, lost contracts, or lost income.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

6. Intellectual property

The lesson text, drill questions, mock exams, audio narration, charts, flashcards, tools, and software that make up the Service are owned by us or licensed to us. FAA publications (the ACS, Pilot Study Guide, sectional charts, the AKT supplement, 14 CFR) are public-domain works of the U.S. government and remain so. You may not scrape, mirror, or redistribute our original content.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to share a single account across multiple people, automate or scrape the Service, reverse-engineer our software, attempt to access other users’ data, or use the Service to harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms; if that affects an active paid plan, contact us through the Feedback page and we will review your account.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify active account holders by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
